The team has been together for 6 years now and has 25 players who have disabilities or impairments which include Learning Disabilities, Autism, Physical Disabilities and Mental Health issues. As a result, Braveherts are one of 12 teams to be invited to play in the 2017 world mixed ability tournament in Spain this month. The £1500 helped to get them and the volunteers to Spain!

Good luck guys x

Baldock Town Youth Football Club Donation

£1,150 was donated to Baldock Town Youth Football club by the Baldock Independent Beer Festival for their assistance and support in the running of the 2017 Beer Festival event. The club provided children’s entertainment during Saturday and Sunday with a shooting practice game and also supported the sales of the festival glasses. Massive thanks to all who took part and assisted over the weekend.

We thought that the club would be using the money to get some Galactico signings from Real Madrid in the summer but they have been very sensible and the money will be used to support the club during the 2017/2018 season by providing essential kit and equipment to various teams at the club, including costs associated with the preparation of safe pitches.

Oh well, Ronaldo was a bit too old for the team anyway.

Singing Aloud Donation

Singing Aloud, the choir that performed on Sunday have donated their performance fee to the Garden House Hospice. We doubled it and so were able to gift £200 in total. Here’s a picture of Kate handing over the cheque before going on a massive spending spree at the Garden House Hospice shop!
