Paul and Gayle were dispatched to the far corners of the home counties to source the best cider they could find. Well they’re back and the list of producers is now on the real cider page.
We will give you a full list of ciders once we can coax Paul out of his apple induced coma!
We had a meeting of the beer festival committee on Monday and things are progressing nicely. Dave has been working hard with a group of us to choose the foreign beers for this years festival and they have all been ordered. We will get a list up on this site as soon as we can.
Food stalls have been booked and will include the usual fare (Indian, West Indian, BBQ) plus ice cream and sweets on Saturday and Sunday for the kids.
Thanks to all bands that have asked if they can play at the festival. We are finalising the bands and will be contacting you as and when we can but unfortunately we will not be able to slot everybody in this year.
Ciders are currently being selected by Paul and Gayle and will be locally produced. We will publish lists as soon as we get them.
We will be selecting ales later in the month so watch this space.
That just about sums up where we are at the moment. See you all soon.
We are currently lining up bands to play the festival this year. We have some old favourites booked in but we are keen to hear from new local bands who would like to play so we can freshen things up a bit.
Drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org if you want to play but be quick as places are going fast!
We have slots for Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th still available so get in touch.
The beer festival will take place on the first bank holiday in May so dates are:
- Friday 3rd May
- Sat 4th May
- Sun 5th May
We had the dates wrong at the top of the page for a few days so do not turn up on Monday 6th unless you want to help clear up. Which would be nice 🙂
This years beer festival is being finalised, beers are being chosen, bands lined up, and plenty of food and other entertainment is planned!
We’re in full organising mode for 2013 so keep checking back for what’s happening.
Run by people from Baldock and it’s not for profit, just for fun!
If you want to help set-up, serve, or clear up, please let us know – we need all the help we can get! email email@example.com and join the fun!
Thanks to everyone who helps us put last year’s Beer Festival together – especially Brandles School, North Herts CAMRA, and the Baldock Festival Committee without whom, this just wouldn’t be possible!
